Robert Half Technology are assisting a market leading real estate organisation to recruit a Project Operations & Process Transformation Consultant on a contract basis. Remote working - Need to be UK based.
What we need:
- A project management and project accounting process expert.
- Someone who can assess how project delivery and project finance operate today.
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions across PMs and finance.
- Document current-state workflows.
- Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks, and design a scalable future-state operating model to ready us for a future systems transformation.
Core skills:
- Process mapping across the project lifecycle (estimating, budgeting, procurement, change orders, billing, close-out).
- Project accounting process design: job costing, WIP, cost-to-complete, revenue recognition, AIA/progress billing, subcontractor and lien-waiver workflows.
- Intake/handoff and PM-to-accounting coordination model design.
- Stakeholder facilitation and change management.
- Process Excellence / continuous improvement (Lean Six Sigma a plus).
Background:
- Hands-on project operations or project-controls leadership, or process-improvement consulting in a contractor/EPC/owner environment.
- Familiarity with construction ERP/PM platforms (Procore, Sage CRE, Viewpoint Vista, CMiC) is useful context, but we are explicitly not looking for an ERP implementation lead, system administrator, or configurator.
