Payroll Specialist

INTERIM INTERNATIONAL PAYROLL SPECIALIST - £250 - £280 per day (Umbrella) | 6 Month Contract | Fully Remote (UK Based) An international organisation is seeking an experienced International Payroll Specialist to join its Global Payroll team on an interim basis. This is a hands-on opportunity supporting end-to-end payroll across Egypt, the Netherlands, Spain, the United States and Canada, while playing a key role in a global payroll systems and provider transition. THE ROLE: You will be responsible for delivering accurate, compliant and timely payroll across multiple international jurisdictions, working closely with HR, Finance and outsourced payroll providers. Alongside BAU payroll, you'll support payroll migration, testing and continuous improvement projects. Key responsibilities: End-to-end multi-country payroll processing Validate starters, leavers and payroll changes Prepare payroll inputs including bonus and variable pay Submit payrolls to outsourced providers Review payroll reports and complete reconciliations Resolve payroll queries from employees and stakeholders Maintain payroll records and audit documentation Support payroll migration, testing and process improvements Experience required: Global / multi-country payroll experience Outsourced payroll provider experience Workday or similar HRIS - Advanced Excel and reconciliations Strong stakeholder communication £250 - £280/day Umbrella | 6 months initially | Fully remote | UK based only Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
