Part-Time Charity Finance Manager Location: Just outside Ilkley Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 FTE Working Pattern: 3 days per week Hybrid working: Available following initial settling-in period Robert Half is delighted to be supporting a well-regarded charity in the search for a Part-Time Finance Manager to join their team based just outside of Ilkley. Reporting to the Operations Director, this is a broad and rewarding role with responsibility for overseeing all finance activities across the charity. You will play a key role in ensuring the organisation remains financially strong, compliant with relevant legislation, and well-positioned to support its ongoing mission. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys working in a hands-on role, partnering with senior stakeholders, and making a meaningful impact within a values-driven organisation. Key responsibilities will include: Managing the day-to-day finance function for the charity Preparing timely and accurate financial reports for senior leadership Budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management Producing management accounts and financial analysis Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and charity legislation Supporting audit processes and year-end reporting Overseeing financial controls and identifying areas for process improvement Providing financial insight to support strategic and operational decision-making About you: Ideally fully qualified, although strong QBE candidates will also be considered Previous experience in a broad finance role, ideally with ownership of the full finance function Strong technical finance skills and a sound understanding of financial controls and compliance Able to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders Organised, proactive and comfortable working independently In return, the organisation can offer a flexible 3-day-per-week position, the opportunity to work for a highly worthwhile cause, and hybrid working once you are established in the role.
