We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a growing engineering team. This is the second hire for the team following a recent successful appointment, reflecting continued investment and growth. This is a hands-on senior engineering role with a strong emphasis on back-end development (approximately 80%), while still contributing to the front end (20%). You'll be designing, building and deploying scalable cloud-based applications and APIs within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop and maintain scalable Python applications.
- Build and deploy cloud-native applications and APIs using AWS.
- Develop and maintain back-end services with occasional front-end development.
- Design robust integrations between internal and external systems.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.
- Contribute to architecture, best practices and technical decision-making.
- Minimum 5 years' commercial experience developing with Python.
- Minimum 5 years' UK commercial experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, including building and deploying cloud-based applications and APIs.
- Strong commercial experience with Node.js and JavaScript.
- Proven experience designing and building scalable applications and integrations.
- Full stack development experience with a primary focus on back-end engineering.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Annual bonus of up to 15% (split between individual and company performance).
