Financial Accountant North Yorkshire / Predominantly Remote £45,000 - £55,000 Robert Half is delighted to be partnering with a highly ambitious, fast-growing business to recruit a newly qualified Financial Accountant. With strong investment in place and exciting growth plans ahead, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a business at a pivotal stage in its journey. This is a broad and hands-on role offering excellent exposure across core financial accounting responsibilities, while also giving the successful candidate the chance to play a key part in improving processes and supporting the development of a robust finance function in a rapidly evolving environment. The role is predominantly home-based, with travel to a site in North Yorkshire approximately once every two weeks.
The Role
Reporting into the finance leadership team, the Financial Accountant will support a wide range of responsibilities, including: Month-end and year-end close activities Financial reporting and statutory accounting Compliance, controls and governance Transactional accounting oversight Balance sheet reconciliations Supporting audit processes Identifying and driving process improvement opportunities Assisting the business as it scales and finance processes evolve
About You
The ideal candidate will be
newly qualified
and looking for an opportunity where they can make a genuine impact within a growing business. You will likely have: A recognised accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA Strong financial accounting knowledge Experience supporting month-end and year-end processes An understanding of financial reporting, compliance and controls A proactive, inquisitive mindset The confidence to work in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment A willingness to get involved, ask questions and continuously improve processes
