Robert Half are working in an exclusive partnership with a unique organisation near Marlborough to recruit a Bookkeeper on a full-time permanent basis. This is a varied and challenging role that will be involved with a range of bookkeeping duties and finance administration tasks and supporting the Finance Manager with the month-end process.
The main duties of the Bookkeeper role will consist of the following:
- Accounts payable; processing invoices, raising purchase orders, reconciling supplier statements.
- Accounts receivable; raising and issuing invoices, following up with customers regarding outstanding payments and dealing with queries.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Processing payments.
- Supporting with general finance administration.
- Supporting with the month-end management accounts process; accruals, prepayments, journal postings.
To be considered for the Bookkeeper role, you must ideally possess the following experience/skills:
- Must have experience within a similar role or an Accounts/Finance Assistant or Assistant Accountant role.
- AAT qualified or qualified by experience.
- A good understanding of credits and debits.
- Good attention to detail.
- Highly organised.
- Competent user of Excel.
