Robert Half is partnering with a well established social infrastructure business in South Manchester to recruit a Finance Transformation Lead. Working closely with senior finance leadership, you will drive process improvement, strengthen financial controls, and support enhancements across systems, policies, and the finance operating model.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function
  • Review and redesign finance processes to improve efficiency, control, and scalability
  • Strengthen key financial controls including P2P, expenses, and balance sheet processes
  • Support finance systems improvements and policy implementation
  • Identify control gaps and process inefficiencies, delivering practical solutions
  • Standardise and document finance processes to improve consistency and resilience
  • Support project coordination, ensuring delivery against timelines and objectives
  • Partner with stakeholders to support effective change management and adoption
  • Provide clear reporting, risk tracking, and progress updates to senior leadership

About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
  • Proven experience in finance transformation or process improvement roles
  • Experience within a private equity-backed or similarly fast-paced, high-accountability environment
  • Strong understanding of finance operations, controls, and change delivery
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Advanced Excel and strong analytical capability
  • Hands-on, proactive approach with strong delivery focus.
