Robert Half are recruiting a Senior Financial Accountant (6-Month FTC) to be based in Chippenham (1 Day per Week)We are looking to appoint a Senior Financial Accountant on a 6-month fixed-term contract to support the integration of a large business.
The OpportunityReporting directly to the Group CFO, you'll work closely with both Group Finance and the business units to support the integration of a recently acquired organisationThis is a highly visible role offering exposure to technical accounting, acquisition accounting, international reporting, and Audit.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport AuditReview and validate opening acquisition balance sheets across multiple countriesAssess provisions, accruals, inventory reserves, and contract asset balances to ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRSSupport trial balance mapping, journal postings, and financial reporting processesReview revenue recognitionAssist with month-end reporting, inter company reconciliations, and group consolidation activitiesWork closely with stakeholders across several international locations during an active integration programmeRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
