Robert Half are working with a well-established manufacturing firm based in Wetherby, seeking an Interim Accounts Clerk to provide support during a period of absence. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who can step into a busy team and provide immediate support across transactional finance duties. The role is expected to last for approximately 3-4 months and will suit someone with previous accounts experience, ideally including exposure to procurement and/or purchase ledger responsibilities.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Processing purchase invoices and maintaining the purchase ledger
  • Supporting procurement administration and supplier coordination
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Assisting with payment runs
  • Handling invoice queries and resolving discrepancies
  • Supporting the wider finance team with general accounts administration

About you:

  • Previous experience in an Accounts Clerk or similar finance support role
  • Ideally experience in procurement and/or purchase ledger
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident using finance systems and Excel

This role will require onsite attendance in Wetherby at least one day per week, with flexibility around the remainder of the working week. This location can be very challenging using public transport unless you are based very locally.
