Robert Half is partnering with a highly respected charitable organisation to recruit a Management Accountant. This is a high-impact role offering exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making through high-quality financial insight.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will lead budgeting, forecasting and management reporting, acting as a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders. You will help embed best-in-class financial planning, support continuous improvement and play a key role in developing the organisation's analytics and impact measurement capability.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the annual budgeting process, reforecasts and scenario modelling.
- Produce monthly and quarterly management accounts with clear variance analysis and commentary.
- Develop financial reporting and performance metrics, including cost allocations and balanced scorecard measures.
- Support forecasting, business cases and investment decisions across programmes and initiatives.
- Provide insightful analysis of income, expenditure and value for money.
- Support payroll, headcount planning and employment cost modelling.
- Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, systems and reporting.
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Strong background in management reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
- Proven finance business partnering with senior and non-finance stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Sage 200 and advanced Excel.
- Collaborative, improvement-focused approach.
- Charity or not-for-profit experience.
- Exposure to value-for-money analysis, impact measurement or business case preparation.
- Experience with ERP / ERM systems.
