I am currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant for my client based in Farnham.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing purchase orders (POs) and requisitions.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Match purchase orders with invoices and delivery notes.
- Contact suppliers to obtain price quotations and delivery schedules.
- Follow up on outstanding orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Assist in inventory checks and report stock levels as needed.
- File and organize procurement documents for easy retrieval.
- Help maintain supplier databases and contact lists.
- Support the senior purchasing staff in other administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
- System Knowledge: Ideally proficient in Xero.
