Robert Half are partnering with a growing, project-led organisation to recruit a Commercial & Business Development Executive to support revenue growth and client development activities. This is a varied and commercially focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys working across sales support, bid coordination, CRM management and key account development within a professional services or technical environment. This is a permanent role, based in North Somerset, and offering hybrid working.
The Opportunity
Working as part of a collaborative commercial team, you will support the delivery of growth objectives by strengthening pipeline activity, coordinating tender submissions and maintaining strong client engagement. You will operate across multiple internal teams, ensuring opportunities are effectively tracked, progressed and successfully handed over for delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the achievement of revenue and growth targets
- Maintain and develop CRM records, ensuring data accuracy and effective pipeline management
- Produce management information and reporting to support commercial strategy
- Assist in the coordination and submission of bids and tenders, ensuring compliance and quality
- Support the development and maintenance of key client accounts
- Collaborate with marketing colleagues to convert campaign activity into commercial opportunities
- Attend relevant networking and industry events to support business development
- Act as a liaison between commercial and operational teams to ensure smooth transition from sale to delivery
About You
- Commercially minded with an interest in business development and client engagement
- Experienced in CRM systems and pipeline reporting
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships internally and externally
- Able to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines
