This 15 Month FTC Finance Manager role for a Large Insurance firm pays £60,000 to £65,000 (plus completion bonus) depending on experience, based in the Heart of the City on a Fixed Term Contract with a 3 days in the office policy.

As a 15 Month FTC Finance Manager, you will work closely with the Head of Finance who is focused on internal growth and development. Please find a brief outline of the role below:

  • The preparation of financial reports, budget and financial forecasts on a regular basis.
  • The preparation and completion of Statutory/Regulatory matters within deadlines.
  • To manage, support and provide direction to members of the accounts team, including the co-ordination of the different aspects of the financial function.
  • The preparation of Annual Accounts, Management Accounts/Reports, Income Reports and audit information.
  • To develop, monitor and maintain management information systems and procedures.
  • To ensure controls are always in place and in use.
  • To support and develop systems where appropriate.
  • To liaise with Auditors during the Annual Statutory Audit.
  • Preparation and submission of VAT Returns, Corporation tax returns and computations.
  • Authorising payments on the online banking system.
  • Prepare payroll journal.

The ideal candidate for the 15 Month FTC Finance Manager role has:

  • At least 3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with FCA CASS 5 (Insurance Client Money).
  • Availability to start the role in March.

The 15 Month FTC Finance Manager will report into a highly impressive Head of Finance and will work closely on the day-to-day operations. The Insurance firm is currently on track for another year of growth, and 2026 is looking promising. The firm will have a handover before and after the contract due to maternity cover.
