We are partnering with an ambitious, international group to recruit a Group Financial Controller. This senior finance role provides technical accounting oversight, financial control, and strategic insight across multiple entities in the UK, Europe, the USA, and other global locations. You will be a key business partner to the CFO, driving financial performance, process improvements, and reporting excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounting practices across all group entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards (IFRS/US GAAP).
- Prepare and analyse management and consolidated financial reports; provide actionable insights to support strategic decisions.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cashflow optimisation, and financial planning processes.
- Develop, implement, and improve financial policies, processes, and internal controls.
- Lead, develop, and manage the finance team.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to embed finance initiatives across the business.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA or ACA preferred).
- 5+ years in a senior financial accountant / financial controller role.
- Experience with multi-entity financial reporting, audit readiness, and compliance.
- Working knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and commercial skills.
