Robert Half are delighted to be partnering with a successful and growing technology business to recruit a Financial Accountant for their Cardiff-based finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a market-leading organisation operating across the UK and Ireland.

Working closely with the Financial Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting audits and driving continuous improvement across the finance function.

Preparation of monthly management accounts Supporting the delivery of group reporting packs Assisting with year-end statutory accounts and external audits Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end controls Revenue analysis and reporting Fixed asset accounting and maintenance of asset registers VAT and other regulatory compliance reporting Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Identifying opportunities to improve financial controls, processes and reporting Providing meaningful financial insight to operational stakeholders across the business About You We're looking to speak with candidates who can demonstrate: ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification Strong financial accounting and reporting experience Experience supporting statutory audits Excellent Excel and financial systems skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement The Opportunity This role offers the chance to join a collaborative and fast-paced business where finance plays a key role in supporting growth and operational performance.
