Robert Half is delighted to be partnering with a market-leading organisation to recruit a Management Accountant for its South Wales headquarters. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to join a successful business with ambitious growth plans and a strong market position.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll take ownership of the monthly management accounts for a key business unit while partnering with operational stakeholders to provide meaningful financial insight and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Cash flow reporting and forecasting
- Maintaining financial ledgers and balance sheet reconciliations
- Statutory accounts preparation
- Producing KPI reporting and performance analysis
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
- Assisting with year-end and interim audits
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial controls, reporting and processes
- Providing cross-functional support across the wider finance team
About You
We're looking for a proactive and commercially aware accountant who enjoys working in a growing business environment.
You will ideally have:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or be newly qualified)
- Strong accounting experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel capabilities
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience of improving financial processes and reporting
