Day Rate: £300-£400 per day
Location: Coventry (Onsite, 4 days per week)
Contract: Interim (6 months)
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations for the plant, including management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
- Business partner with operations, supply chain, and management to drive efficiency and profitability
- Manage month-end and year-end close, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of financial statements
- Lead local finance team and provide coaching as needed
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements
- Liaise with auditors and group finance functions
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA), or equivalent
- Substantial experience in a Financial Controller or Finance Manager role within the automotive sector
- Previous experience in high volume, complex, or heavy manufacturing environments
- Strong working knowledge of management accounting, controls, and business partnering
- Availability for an immediate start and willingness to work onsite 4 days per week in Coventry
