Robert Half Finance & Accounting are currently partnering our client in their recruitment of a Financial Reporting Accountant on a permanent contract. Joining a high-performing Group Reporting function within a large, complex international organisation, this role sits within a specialist reporting team responsible for complex areas of the group's financial reporting. You'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting strategic transactions, and driving improvements across reporting processes. If you enjoy technical accounting, working through complex structures, and partnering with senior stakeholders on high-impact projects - this role offers both challenge and visibility and could be the one for you! Based out of their Bristol Centre office, the salary on offer is up to Β£60,000 + benefits. Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial reporting for a portfolio of joint venture and investment entities
- Produce monthly and quarterly management accounts, journals, and variance analysis
- Ensure balance sheet integrity through detailed reconciliations and reviews
- Deliver overhead and cost reporting with clear commentary for stakeholders
- Manage intercompany recharges, settlements, and invoicing processes
- Support month-end and quarter-end close, ensuring robust controls and deadlines are met
- Partner with finance business partners to reflect structural and commercial changes accurately
- Contribute to technical projects including restructures, refinancing arrangements, and equity transactions
- Support the setup of new entities, partnerships, and reporting frameworks
- Provide insightful ad-hoc analysis to senior finance and operational stakeholders
- Review work prepared by junior team members and support their development
About You
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Strong technical financial reporting background within a complex group environment is ideal, but not essential
- Confident navigating technical accounting issues and structural transactions
- Medium-large company experience
- Proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement and automation
- Strong communicator, comfortable partnering across finance and non-finance teams
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing deadlines
