This well-established hospitality company based in central London is looking to hire an Assistant Accountant. It is a newly created headcount and the culture of the finance team is fun, dynamic and inclusive. They are looking for someone that can help add value to the finance team as well as the wider business.
The Assistant Accountant will assist with the preparation and posting of accruals and prepayments, support month-end close activities, and help maintain accurate financial records. The Assistant Accountant will also liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to resolve invoice queries, support payment runs, and contribute to continuous improvements within the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable process.
A proactive, can-do attitude is essential, along with strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex problems and develop effective solutions. Fluency in Japanese is a mandatory requirement for this role.
This position offers a hybrid working model, with 1-2 days per week based in the central London office.
