We are looking for a proactive Finance Assistant to join our clients dynamic Finance Team in Warwickshire. This fast-paced, hands-on role places you at the core of the finance operations, where you will support credit control, payroll, and purchase ledger activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Ledger & Credit Control
- Support invoice query investigations
- Assist with debt collection and manage aged debt
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Ledger Controller and Finance Manager
- Payroll
- Help prepare weekly, four-weekly, and monthly payroll submissions
- Handle payroll queries from branches
- Complete payroll checks and reconciliations
- Process new starter documentation
- Purchase Ledger
- Upload invoices via Dext
- Assist with payment queries
- Manage and organize the Finance inbox
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to engage in ad-hoc finance projects alongside the Finance Manager and CFO.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in a finance environment (essential)
- Proficiency in Excel
- Xero experience is helpful but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and solid numerical skills
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable juggling priorities
- A genuine can-do attitude with clear communication skills
