Robert Half are recruiting a Senior Financial Accountant (6-Month FTC) to be based in Chippenham (1 Day per Week)
We are looking to appoint a Senior Financial Accountant on a 6-month fixed-term contract to support the integration of a large business.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Group CFO, you'll work closely with both Group Finance and the business units to support the integration of a recently acquired organisation
This is a highly visible role offering exposure to technical accounting, acquisition accounting, international reporting, and Audit.
Key Responsibilities
Support Audit
Review and validate opening acquisition balance sheets across multiple countries
Assess provisions, accruals, inventory reserves, and contract asset balances to ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS
Support trial balance mapping, journal postings, and financial reporting processes
Review revenue recognition
Assist with month-end reporting, inter company reconciliations, and group consolidation activities
Work closely with stakeholders across several international locations during an active integration programme
