Robert Half are working with a Portsmouth based organisation to recruit an Interim Finance Manager for up to 3 months.
Based on site in the Porstmouth area.
CIMA/ACCA or QBE.
As Finance Manager you will strengthen month-end, statutory and compliance accounting processes, ensuring that financial reporting, reconciliations and regulatory returns are completed accurately and on time.
Key responsibilities
- Support and deliver month-end close processes and reporting timetables.
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Record and reconcile daily income and deferred income balances.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns, including Capital Goods Scheme (CGS) tracking and adjustments, and review VAT journals.
- Apply UK Charities SORP accounting requirements for the Trust and UK GAAP (FRS 102) requirements for the subsidiary.
- Support implementation and ongoing compliance with the revised FRS 102 lease accounting requirements (Section 20).
- Reconcile the fixed asset register to the balance sheet.
- Prepare customer invoices and support credit control processes where required.
- Work collaboratively with the finance team, senior leadership team and other departments across the organisation.
