Robert Half are recruiting a Finance Analyst for a Portsmouth based client on a temporary basis.
We are looking for an individual with strong accounting and finance expertise who can develop a comprehensive suite of finance and finance/HR reporting tools, dashboards, forecasting models and board-level reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop finance dashboards and reports with meaningful KPIs and benchmarks, providing management with clear visibility of organisational performance.
- Build and implement an automated monthly payroll journal process from Sage Payroll into Accounts IQ, ensuring a consistent and efficient month-end process.
- Develop integrated HR and finance reporting, including absence and sickness metrics alongside payroll and cost data, to support informed decision-making.
- Design forecasting templates and reporting mechanisms that can be used by both the finance team and budget holders across the organisation.
- Create professional Board and Finance Committee reporting templates, together with a concise monthly update for wider business use.
- Automate reporting and data processes wherever practical whilst ensuring systems remain straightforward for the finance team to maintain and use.
