Job Title: Azure Migration Engineer
Location: Oxfordshire / Hybrid Working Pattern
Duration: Initially 3 Months
Rate: Competitive Daily Rate
We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Deployment Engineer to lead the implementation of a new Microsoft Azure environment.
This is a hands-on deployment role focused on building a secure, well-structured Azure environment in line with agreed architecture, security and governance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy the Microsoft Azure environment from the ground up.
- Configure Azure subscriptions, resource groups, networking and core services.
- Implement Azure identity, RBAC, PIM and appropriate security controls.
- Apply Azure policies and Microsoft best-practice standards.
- Ensure resources are deployed securely and consistently.
- Work with relevant security stakeholders to ensure the environment meets required security and compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot deployment and configuration issues.
- Use PowerShell, Azure CLI and/or Infrastructure as Code where appropriate.
