The Permanent Division of Robert Half is currently recruiting for a Financial Reporting Manager on behalf of a Global Sales business with offices in Milton Keynes.
The Role
As Financial Reporting Manager you will manage all the UK accounting, tax and financial reporting including audit support, tax filings, technical accounting and controls. Day to day duties will consist of:
- Lead the UK accounting control function,
- Maintain strong financial controls over the balance sheet including accruals, provisions, working capital, liquidity,
- Fixed assets, US GAAP and IFRS reporting
- Produce annual statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP (FRS 102) and other regional reporting for branch locations.
- Consolidations
- Ensure the integrity of the general ledger balances
- Coordinate intercompany accounting, eliminations, and reconciliations.
- Cash management including working capital
- Responsible for the banking processes for all UK entities and branches.
- Stock and inventory accounting
- Preparation of statutory financial statements for all UK entities and branches in accordance with local GAAP.
- Support the Corporate Tax team based in the US in the completion of all tax returns
- Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership, coordinate activities and manage direct and indirect reports
- Manage and provide ongoing individual and team
Your Profile
You will be a Qualified Accountant with extensive financial accounting and reporting experience who can demonstrate a strong knowledge of US and UK GAAP (FRS 102), IFRS, JSOX, VAT and tax regulations. You will also have proven ability to create and lead a continuous improvement and innovation culture as required. This is an excellent role within a fast moving and high growth business in Milton Keynes.
