IT Audit - Senior Consultant

Salary: Β£50,000 - Β£60,000 DOE + bonus
Robert Half are seeking an experienced IT Audit - Senior Consultant to join a leading global consulting and internal audit organisation, supporting major financial services clients across a range of technology risk and assurance engagements.
This is an excellent opportunity for an IT audit professional looking to develop their career in a highly client-facing role, working on varied and challenging assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver IT audit and technology assurance engagements across a range of client environments.
- Review, document and test IT and operational controls.
- Assess control effectiveness and identify risks and improvement opportunities.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to clients and senior stakeholders.
- Prepare audit reports and present findings to management.
- Build strong client relationships and contribute to project delivery.
- Supervise, coach and support junior team members.
- Leverage data analytics, AI and other technology-enabled audit tools appropriately.
Key Experience
We are looking for experience in several of the following areas:
- IT General Controls (ITGCs).
- Cybersecurity and information security controls.
- Cloud configuration and assurance.
- Agile / DevOps controls.
- IT effectiveness reviews, IT governance and IT strategy.
- Internal audit methodologies and control frameworks such as COSO, COBIT and IIA standards.
- Data analytics and emerging technology risk.
