We are seeking an experienced Interim Treasury professional to provide short-term specialist support to a Group Finance Director and help safeguard the Group's liquidity and financial risk position. This is a hands-on interim assignment focused on leading cash, funding and foreign exchange activities, while ensuring robust treasury controls and compliance with Group Treasury Policy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the FX hedging strategy for USD exposure, including an annual requirement of approximately USD 140m.
  • Ensure effective mitigation of foreign exchange risk and support the availability of funds required by the business.
  • Monitor and manage treasury exposures including: interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk, liquidity risk.
  • Use hedging strategies where appropriate in line with policy.
  • Oversee the Group's daily cash position and ensure sufficient liquidity is available to meet operational and financial commitments.
  • Provide clear, reliable and effective treasury insight to the Group Finance Director.
  • Ensure all Group Treasury activities are managed in accordance with the Group Treasury Policy.
  • Maintain strong treasury controls and support sound decision-making across treasury operations.

About You

  • 3-5 years' experience in a treasury management or treasury lead role.
  • Strong specialist treasury experience, ideally supported by ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
  • Proven experience operating at a managerial level with accountability for decisions, controls and outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience managing material USD foreign exchange exposure.
  • Direct experience managing annual cash flows or currency requirements of a comparable scale, ideally at least USD 75m-100m, with the capability to manage a USD 140m annual requirement confidently.
  • Comfortable working independently in an interim capacity and adding value quickly.

Additional Information

This role can be predominantly remote but you may be required to spend some time in the client's North Leeds based office. If you are available at short notice and bring strong treasury and FX hedging expertise, we would be keen to hear from you.
