Financial Controller
East Yorkshire | £70,000-£80,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Robert Half Accountancy & Finance is delighted to be partnering with a rapidly growing manufacturing business as they appoint a Financial Controller to support the next phase of their ambitious growth journey.
Backed by a larger international group, the business is investing significantly in its UK operations. With ambitious growth plans and revenues forecast to double, this is a rare opportunity to join a business at a pivotal stage of its journey.
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will take ownership of the day to day finance function whilst acting as a key business partner to operational leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the finance function
- Deliver accurate and timely monthly management accounts
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
- Drive cost control, margin analysis and operational reporting
- Support manufacturing costing and inventory processes
- Strengthen financial controls and reporting processes
- Partner with operational leaders to support commercial decision making
- Support future growth initiatives and business improvement projects
Requirements:
- Experienced Financial Controller with a background within manufacturing
- Comfortable working in a growing SME or PE backed environment
- Strong in costing, margins and operational finance
- Commercially focused with a pragmatic, hands on approach
- Experienced managing and developing finance teams
- Confident building relationships across the wider business
- Qualifications are welcomed, but experience, commercial acumen and the ability to operate effectively within a growing business are considered equally important.
