Robert Half are recruiting for a People Operations Coordinator on behalf of our client, a growing technology and engineering business.
Our client develops advanced technologies and high-performance products for demanding global markets.
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused People Operations Coordinator to join the team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, based at a city-centre office.
The role can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis.
The position is paying £30,000-£40,000 DOE.
The Role
This role sits at the heart of the day-to-day administration supporting the employee experience.
You will ensure People processes run smoothly, records remain accurate and important actions are followed through.
You will coordinate key stages of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment administration and onboarding through to employee changes and offboarding.
You will maintain People records, manage absence and right-to-work administration, coordinate recruitment activity and act as the first point of contact for straightforward queries through the HR inbox.
A key focus will be onboarding, ensuring new starters have everything they need for their first day, including completed documentation, equipment, systems access and practical arrangements.
You won't be expected to make HR policy or employee-relations decisions.
Instead, you will take ownership of processes within your remit, resolve straightforward queries, proactively follow up on outstanding actions and recognise when matters need to be escalated.
You don't need a formal HR background.
You may already work in People Operations or HR administration, or you could be an experienced administrator or coordinator looking to apply your skills in a People environment.
