An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially focused FP&A Manager to join a growing, multi-site organisation based in High Wycombe - a high-impact senior finance role with direct CFO exposure
Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a highly visible role and an opportunity to become a key member of the senior finance team.
You will act as a right-hand person to the CFO, providing the analysis, insight and commercial challenge required to support business performance and future growth.
This is much more than a traditional FP&A position.
You will have genuine ownership of the Group's planning, forecasting and performance agenda, while working closely with senior operational leaders and functional heads across the business.

The opportunity
You will be responsible for leading the Group's FP&A activity, while working closely with the CFO on both day-to-day performance and longer-term strategic priorities.
Your responsibilities will include
- Leading the annual budgeting process and five-year business plan.
- Acting as a key finance partner to the CFO and senior leadership team.
- Producing weekly and monthly KPI reporting for senior management and external stakeholders.
- Providing clear analysis of performance against budget, forecast and prior year.
- Partnering with operational leaders and budget holders to understand performance, identify opportunities and drive accountability.
- Analysing key commercial and operational drivers, including revenue, occupancy and staffing costs.
- Developing financial models, scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Preparing high-quality materials for Board and investor-level meetings.
- Improving FP&A reporting, systems, processes and data quality, with a focus on automation and reducing manual reporting.
- Supporting the CFO with strategic projects, commercial analysis and other priority initiatives.
- Managing, coaching and developing a Finance Analyst.
About you
We are looking for a commercially minded qualified accountant who combines strong technical and analytical capability with the confidence to operate at senior stakeholder level.
You may be ACA, ACCA, CIMA or hold an equivalent recognised accounting qualification.
More important than the qualification itself is your ability to understand the wider business, challenge constructively and turn financial information into meaningful commercial insight.
Ideally, you will have
- Experience in FP&A, commercial finance or a closely related role within a multi-site organisation.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with excellent Excel capability.
- Experience owning or playing a significant role in budgeting, forecasting and business planning.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to understand the drivers behind business performance.
- Experience partnering with senior operational stakeholders and providing constructive challenge.
- Excellent communication and business writing skills.
- The confidence and gravitas to work closely with a CFO and senior leadership team.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail.
- The ambition to take on increasing responsibility as the business continues to grow.
