The Opportunity
We are looking for a friendly, customer-focused IT Service Desk Analyst to provide short-term cover for a busy internal IT team.
This is a hands-on, varied service desk role where the priority will be keeping tickets moving, resolving day-to-day technical issues and ensuring a consistently high standard of IT support for colleagues across the business.
The successful candidate will be approachable, proactive and confident communicating with users at all levels, with the ability to troubleshoot common IT issues and escalate more complex problems where necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as the first point of contact for internal IT support queries.
- Logging, managing and resolving service desk tickets, ensuring issues are dealt with promptly.
- Providing 1st line and some 2nd line technical support.
- Supporting Microsoft Office 365 administration and troubleshooting.
- Carrying out remote troubleshooting and resolving common technical issues.
- Building and configuring machines for new and existing users.
- Providing on-site support for AV-related issues, including meeting room and equipment troubleshooting.
- Supporting general hardware, software and connectivity issues.
- Maintaining excellent customer service and keeping users updated on progress.
- Escalating more complex technical issues when required.
