Robert Half are working with a leading financial services organisation that is looking for an experienced Deployment Engineer to join their technology team on an initial 3-month contract.
This is a highly hands-on role, requiring someone comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and engaging directly with end users and internal IT teams.
Key
Responsibilities: Deploy and configure desktops, laptops and other IT hardware across the organisation.
Support the rollout and upgrade of end-user devices, including hardware refresh programmes.
Build, configure and deploy devices using Microsoft Intune, Autopilot and SCCM/MECM .
Install and configure software applications and ensure devices meet required security and configuration standards.
Manage device preparation, imaging, asset tagging and deployment documentation.
Provide hands-on technical support during deployment activities and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
Work closely with Service Desk, Infrastructure and wider IT teams to coordinate deployments.
Maintain accurate asset and deployment records.
Support user migrations, device replacements and technology upgrades.
Follow established IT security, change management and deployment procedures.
