Robert Half Finance Accounting are partnering with a leading Tech business in London to recruit an immediate, Interim Credit Control Clerk for 3-6 months. Role: Our client is looking for an immediate interim Credit Control Clerk to assist them for 3-6 months. You will be responsible for following duties: Solely manage a high-volume ledger of approximately 500-700 customer accounts. Take full ownership of the credit control and debt collection process across the assigned portfolio. Manage a ledger of approximately £2 million, with a strong focus on reducing outstanding and aged debt. Proactively pursue 150+ days aged debt, implementing effective collection strategies to recover outstanding balances. Work within a high-volume credit control environment, prioritising workload and managing multiple accounts effectively. Carry out detailed account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Investigate and resolve queries, disputes and issues preventing payment. Problem-solve complex account and payment issues to drive debt recovery. Investigate potential bad debt, identifying root causes and taking appropriate action. Maintain accurate account records and ensure all collection activity is documented.
