We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Assistant to support a busy finance function in Coventry. This role involves managing high-volume customer invoicing, cash allocation, and resolving invoice discrepancies within a fast-paced environment. This is an interim role for approx 12 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing approximately 300 customer invoices per week.
- Reviewing and investigating invoice errors and discrepancies.
- Liaising with internal teams to resolve invoicing queries.
- Allocating customer receipts and reconciling payments.
- Maintaining accurate customer account records.
- Supporting month-end accounts receivable activities.
- Using Excel to manage, analyse, and reconcile financial data.
- Assisting with general AR administration and reporting.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable, Sales Ledger, or Finance Assistant role.
- Strong background in high-volume invoice processing.
- Experience investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies.
- Cash allocation and account reconciliation experience.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to work independently and manage a busy workload.
