Finance & Payroll Accounts Assistant - TEMP TO PERM
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location: Bourton-on-the-Water
Salary: Up to £35,000
Working pattern: Office-based, with some flexibility around start and finish times
The Role
We are looking for an organised and detail-focused Finance & Payroll Accounts Assistant . The role combines responsibility for accurate weekly payroll preparation with finance, accounts and general administrative support.
The key focus is compiling, checking and validating employee hours before weekly payroll is processed. This is not an end-to-end payroll position ; payroll processing, tax and final payroll preparation are handled by an established payroll specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Compile and validate weekly employee hours, including variable hours, pay rates, sickness, holidays and other payroll adjustments.
Review time-recording information and compare reports across multiple systems.
Investigate discrepancies, missing or incorrect information and liaise with managers to resolve issues.
Ensure payroll data is accurate, complete and correctly allocated ahead of the weekly payroll deadline.
Support Finance with payroll reporting, reconciliations, financial records and general accounts administration.
