We're looking for a hands-on Accounts Assistant to join the finance team at in Cardiff
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys getting stuck into the detail, keeping things running smoothly and working as part of a busy, friendly team. Once you're up to speed, you'll have the flexibility to work 2 days from home.
What you'll be doing
You'll play a key role in keeping our accounts processes accurate and on track, including:
- Processing supplier invoices and uploading them to VMS
- Maintaining Sage Line 50 records
- Completing three-way matching of POs, GRNs and invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries
- Preparing payment runs and maintaining supplier accounts
- Processing payroll journals
- Maintaining the fixed asset register, including additions and disposals
- Posting depreciation journals
- Reconciling bank accounts
- Supporting the month-end close
- Assisting with audit requests
