, supporting the internal IT function of a growing technology business based in London.
You will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical support to employees across the business, while also assisting with the administration and maintenance of internal IT systems, devices and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day IT support to employees, managing technical issues from initial diagnosis through to resolution.
- Set up, configure and maintain laptops, desktops and other end-user devices.
- Provide hands-on support across
Apple mac OS and Windows environments.
- Manage user accounts, permissions and access across internal systems and applications.
- Manage the IT aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, operating system, application and connectivity issues.
- Support meeting rooms, video conferencing, AV equipment and other office technology.
- Manage IT hardware and inventory, including laptops, peripherals and other equipment.
- Assist with endpoint management, software deployment, patching and security.
- Support
Microsoft 365 administration, including users, groups, permissions and associated services.
- Assist with device management and MDM activities, including
Jamf .
- Maintain accurate IT documentation, processes and knowledge articles.
- Support wider systems administration and infrastructure activities.
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve repetitive IT administration tasks.
- Work alongside the wider technical team on IT, infrastructure and security projects.
Key Requirements
- 2+ years' recent hands-on experience in an IT Support, Desktop Support, Service Desk or similar technical role.
- Strong experience supporting Apple mac OS devices within a business environment.
- Good experience supporting Windows devices.
- Experience administering Microsoft 365 / Office 365, including users, groups, permissions and associated services.
- Hands-on experience with MDM/device management tooling, particularly Jamf.
- Experience with identity, user account and access management.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD.
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi and VPNs.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, operating system and connectivity issues.
- Experience managing IT support tickets and taking ownership of issues through to resolution.
- Experience providing internal IT support to both office-based and remote employees.
- Comfortable supporting senior stakeholders and executives.
- Experience supporting meeting rooms, video conferencing, AV equipment and wider office technology.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
