Finance Data & Systems Analyst
We're looking for a Finance Data & Systems Analyst to improve performance visibility across the business. Working closely with Finance, FP&A, and Data teams, you'll enable better decision-making through reliable data, strong analytics, and smart use of digital tools - combining an understanding of Finance processes with the ability to drive automation and AI adoption.
What you will do
- Act as the main Finance point of contact for the Data team, translating requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Build, maintain, and improve Finance datasets, reports, and dashboards, supporting data quality and governance.
- Build KPI dashboards and communicate performance trends as part of a commercial reporting workstream.
- Own the build and upkeep of the FP&A planning platform's models (infrastructure, data flows, dimensions), managing tickets and supporting the team's use of it for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual work and champion responsible use of AI within Finance.
What you should bring
Essential:
- Strong understanding of Finance processes and business performance management.
- Experience building and maintaining BI solutions and dashboards.
- Proven ability to bridge Finance and Data/Technology teams.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data platforms, data flows, and reporting infrastructure.
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with a structured, problem-solving mindset.
Desirable:
- FP&A experience, ideally hands-on with a planning platform (e.g. Pigment, Anaplan, Workday Adaptive, Vena).
- Experience with ERP data, payments/transactional reporting, and applying AI/automation to business processes.
