We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of Technological Education to join the Technologies Department at the College. This post will become available from August 2026. This is a full time, permanent post.

The Technologies Department has four full-time and one part-time member of teaching staff, including the Head of Department, and also a Technology technician to support teaching and learning in the department. Technology is taught discretely as part of a common course in S1-S2. Currently, we offer both Graphic Communication and Engineering Science at National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher level. Additionally, there are many co-curricular activities offered by the Department and it is expected that all staff will contribute to the running of these.

The Technology teaching rooms are housed on the ground floor of the Wood Foundation Centre for Science and Technology which is part of a very large and ambitious upgrade of STEM teaching accommodation. The state of the art laboratory and teaching space is at the leading edge for the delivery of the highest quality of learning and teaching, and represents Britain's biggest science and technology teaching facility at this level.

Salary will be aligned with the national teaching pay rates, depending on experience.
