Robert Gordon's College is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspiring full time PE Teacher on an initial one year fixed-term basis to contribute to its sector leading and exciting 3-18 PE and Sports Curriculum and Co-curricular programme. This post will be available from the new school year, in August 2026.
PE and Sport is a major part of life at RGC. As well as our PE, Swimming, and Strength & Conditioning facilities at our Schoolhill campus in the city centre, we have a 39-acre PE and Sport ground at Countesswells to the west end of the city. Full participation in Saturday sport and leading a team is essential.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the development of PE at the College through an ability to undertake successfully the following tasks:
- Teach Physical Education from Nursery to S6, including certificated PE courses;
- Create an effective teaching and learning environment which offers support and encouragement to pupils;
- Implement National Guidelines;
- Be actively involved in co-curricular activities and full participation in Saturday sport;
- Maintain appropriate records of pupil performance and assessment;
- Parent Liaison;
- Contribute to the wider school community.

The salary will be aligned with the national teaching pay rates, depending upon experience.
