REFA , a growing and ambitious consultancy based inWigan , is looking for aSenior Civils Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved inall aspects of residential infrastructure projects , working alongside a supportive team that’s passionate about quality design and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of highways, drainage, external levels, and plot drainage for residential developments
- Carry out site appraisals and drainage feasibility studies
- Contribute to Flood Risk Assessments and technical reports
- Prepare and manage Section 38 and Section 104 submissions and liaise with relevant authorities
- Work with LLFA (England) and SAB (Wales) to ensure compliance
- Support and mentor junior engineers where appropriate
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum5 years\' experience in a design office environment
- Proven ability to complete designs independently
- Excellent understanding of drainage and highways design for residential schemes
- Familiarity with UK approval processes and legislation (S38, S104, etc.)
- Proficient inAutoCAD, Causeway PDS, and Causeway Flow
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
