Are you a passionate, commercial, fast paced person seeking a flexible and impactful role? We are searching for a People Advisor to join our friendly team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our employees and creating a positive and productive work environment.

What You Will Do:

  • Drive the delivery of a commercially focussed People service to our retail operations and distribution centre.
  • Proactively contribute to both the commercial success of Robert Dyas and driving the people culture.
  • Develop and extend effective working relationships with Stakeholders.
  • Assist with the onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for new hires.
  • Champion the Robert Dyas employee brand to enable the successful retention of colleagues.
  • Proactively support increased colleague recognition and engagement, with a view to creating a company people really want to work for.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Assist with employee relations issues, ensuring store managers have the appropriate skills and advice required to deliver a consistently fair and productive working environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve and drive shared goals.

  • Strong understanding of People principles and practices - Desire to drive the best people culture throughout the business.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with employees at all levels.
  • Commercially focused.
  • Experience with Employee Relations.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in a similar role is a plus.
