The Mission: Maximise Profit and the Digital Shelf
Reporting to the Head of Online Trading, you will be a driving force behind our web exclusives, tasked with translating data into decisions that deliver massive returns.
Your Battleground:
- Profit Ownership: Take accountability for the net profit of the web exclusive range.
- Strategic Sourcing: Identify high-potential products within our dropship network and strategically stock them into our business to dramatically improve profitability.
- Supply Chain Command: Own and manage carrier and distribution agreements, ensuring seamless, on-time product distribution from our Hemel Hempstead Distribution Centre.
- Margin Mastery: Collaborate with core category buying teams to negotiate and maximise profit margins across the exclusive range.
- Analytics to Action: Be a wizard with analytics data (e.g., BI reporting). Dive deep to understand true net profit margins, price elasticity, and variable costings to make key decisions that outpace the competition.
- Stock Excellence: Manage stock turn to maintain efficiency and capitalise on demand.
