Class 2 HGV Driver – Hemel Hempstead Distribution Centre

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 2 HGV vehicle
- Deliver and collect goods, including using a tail lift for kerbside deliveries
- Conduct thorough pre‑trip inspections and post‑trip vehicle checks
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Communicate effectively with the team and report any issues promptly
- Handle goods with care and secure them properly using best practice procedures
Qualifications
- Valid HGV Class2 licence
- Minimum2years' experience driving Class2 HGVs
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents
- Ability to read and follow GPS and navigation systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Physically fit for handling heavy loads
- Experience with multi‑drop deliveries, including kerbside with a tail lift
Bonus qualifications
- Driver trainer/assessor experience
- ADR (Dangerous Goods) qualification
