The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Dropship Vendor Manager to join our Retail Support Centre in Wimbledon. Dropship (DSV), where physical stock is held and dispatched directly by our Supplier partners, is a strategic priority and central to the growth of E-commerce within Robert Dyas over the next five years. Product ranges within DSV include Small and Medium Domestic Appliances, Consumer Electronics, Garden Furniture, Indoor Furniture, and Garden Buildings.
What You'll Be Doing
Reporting to the Head of Dropship Vendor Management, you will take responsibility for the operational relationship with DSV suppliers for your category. Your main duties include:
- Managing the day-to-day operational standards of your DSV suppliers.
- Onboarding new suppliers to the Robert Dyas dropship systems.
- Ensuring adherence to strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to guarantee excellent customer service.
- Building relationships with major suppliers and attending Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to review performance and agree on improvements.
- Creating and reviewing reports to measure and rank supplier performances.
- Acting as the escalation point for Customer Services and liaising closely with Trading Teams to resolve issues and ensure business continuity.
