Buying (Kitchen & Appliance) - Wimbledon

The Role

Ready for the next step in your buying career? We’re looking for a proactive Buyers Assistant with around 12-18 months of head office buying experience to join our team in Wimbledon.

In this role, you’ll be the operational engine behind our categories-providing dedicated administrative and analytical support to the Buyer while working hand-in-hand with Trade Admin. From range planning and price benchmarking to sample management and supplier collaboration, you’ll help drive commercial growth and keep our departments running seamlessly.

What You’ll Do

• Range & Commercial Support: Assist with range planning, promotional planograms, and supplier promotional calendars.

• Pricing & Data Accuracy: Manage price change administration, benchmarking, and discrepancy investigations with strong attention to detail.

• Sample & Order Management: Oversee sample tracking, order placement, chasing, SKU raising, and web set-ups.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Trade Admin, Marketing, and Space Planning to deliver smooth day-to-day operations.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience: 12-18 months minimum experience in a retail head office (buying support preferred).

• Skills: Highly organised with strong numerical and analytical skills; comfortable working with pricing data, Excel, and internal retail systems.

• Communication: A confident, clear communicator who can effectively build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

• Drive: A proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to develop core buying and range strategy skills over time.
