Overview
In this role you will lead health, safety and environmental governance across Bosch UK and Ireland real estate assets. You will sit on the Global Real Estate leadership team, driving strategy, compliance and continuous improvement to create a safe, productive workplace. You will partner with internal teams and external providers to manage risk, audits and incident investigations, shaping a resilient safety culture. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement health, safety and environmental policies aligned with legal and corporate guidelines
- Perform risk assessments and design preventative measures
- Organise safety training and raise awareness of safety practices
- Monitor policy compliance, conduct site inspections, and produce reports
- Lead incident investigations to determine root causes and preventive actions
- Advise on fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, and related HSE topics
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation
- Support integration of protective risk and fire prevention with GR/FCM-GB
- Coordinate internal and external audits for UK locations
- Lead the UK site operational security strategy in collaboration with Real Estate leadership
- Establish a UK-wide HSE partner network and respond to emergencies as needed
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and related data protection requirements
- Drive cost-saving measures in training where applicable
- Travel across the UK and Ireland to support locations
Key requirements
- Experience in safety basics within a blue-chip environment
- Strong knowledge of RRFA 2010, MHSAWA 1999, DA 2010, PUWER, LOLER 98, Asbestos 2012 Regulations
- Knowledge of fire protection systems and safety technologies
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with stakeholder influence
- Level 5 Qualification in HSE or equivalent
- Leadership & Management qualification
- Broad legal knowledge pertaining to HSE
- Experience in environmental protection
- Knowledge of regulations on polluted sites and soils
