Job Description: Join us for your placement year in summer 2026. Our internships are designed to give you an insight into what it’s like to work for a world-renowned brand with a culture of support and community. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- As an NPI Purchasing Engineering Intern, you will become a project team member in international projects.
- You will be responsible for the introduction of new components from a concept stage to product introduction.
- Furthermore, you will also be responsible for making Engineering changes to existing parts to enhance cost, quality, and time. This will involve developing components while liaising with key stakeholders such as Suppliers, R&D, Quality and Manufacturing to ensure project milestones are met by identifying cost drivers.

Qualifications: Please note that to be eligible for this role, you must be an undergraduate student seeking a placement year as part of your degree - if you do not meet these criteria please consider applying for other positions. Our ideal candidate must have:
- Student from Engineering background.
- Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical components.
- Basic understanding of 2D drawings and 3D models.
- Good organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing working environments and is ready to embrace new ways of working through digitalisation.
- Confidence to challenge and create new ideas.
- Capability to work well in a team as well as independently, using own initiative.
- A quality mind-set with high attention to detail.
