We are excited to offer you the opportunity to join our Digital department as a Social Media Lead. The Digital Marketing team at Worcester Bosch is at the forefront of driving the Company’s online presence and customer engagement. In this role, you will own and scale our social media presence across B2B and B2C audiences, lead the development of social and content strategies, oversee content creation and publishing, drive audience growth and engagement, and manage cross‑functional stakeholder relationships. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, understands platform trends and performance analytics, and can build social programmes that strengthen brand awareness, community engagement, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated B2B and B2C social media strategies across multiple platforms to drive brand growth, engagement, lead generation, and performance.
- Lead the planning and creation of engaging, on‑brand multimedia content and campaigns that align with audience needs, trends, and business objectives.
- Create targeted messaging and content strategies that support both professional and consumer marketing goals across different customer journeys.
- Build and manage proactive community engagement strategies that foster meaningful relationships, monitor sentiment, and protect brand reputation.
- Oversee daily social media publishing, scheduling, optimisation, and platform management to ensure consistent and effective delivery.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align social initiatives with business priorities and communicate strategic performance insights.
- Analyse social media performance data to optimise campaigns, improve engagement, and deliver actionable reporting and recommendations.
- Maintain brand consistency across all social channels while supporting reputation management and staying ahead of digital and platform trends.
Qualifications
- Education requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or related field.
- Proven experience in social media management, content strategy, or digital marketing roles.
- Strong understanding of both B2B and B2C social media ecosystems.
- Demonstrated experience creating high‑performing social content across multiple platforms.
- Excellent copywriting, storytelling, and communication skills.
- Experience with social media management and analytics tools.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategic decisions.
- Experience managing agencies, creators, or freelancers is a plus.
- Knowledge of paid social advertising is advantageous.
- Must have the right to live and work in the UK from the start date of employment and for the duration of your employment.
