Head of Product & Portfolio for Electrification Business (SL1) in Worcester

We are excited to offer you the opportunity to join our team as Head of Product & Portfolio for the Electrification Business! This is a unique chance to shape the future of heating and cooling in the UK. As the Head of Product & Portfolio for our Electrification Business, you will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our market leading product portfolio - steering innovation, empowering your team, and ensuring we deliver exceptional value to homeowners, installers, and partners. You will connect customer insight, technology, and commercial priorities to drive Worcester Bosch’s low‑carbon portfolio and market execution.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Defining a bold product vision grounded in customer needs, market trends, and long term business strategy for our residential Heat Pump and Air Conditioning portfolio.
• Owning and driving the product roadmap, ensuring it balances innovation, commercial opportunity, and operational feasibility while keeping the customer at the centre of every decision.
• Championing user centricity, using research, data, and insight to understand customer pain points and opportunities, and translating them into compelling product propositions.
• Leading high impact product delivery, partnering closely with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Training teams to bring new products to market successfully and at pace.
• Managing the full lifecycle of key product categories from early concept through development, launch, optimisation, and phase out, ensuring every product remains competitive and commercially healthy.
• Inspiring and developing a team of Product Managers, creating a culture of curiosity, ownership, and continuous improvement where people can do their best work.
• Driving competitive advantage, using deep market and competitor analysis to position our products effectively and ensure we stay ahead in a fast moving industry.
• Representing the portfolio externally, building credibility with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders, and acting as an advocate for our technology vision.
• Influencing business direction, supporting strategic initiatives and ensuring product decisions contribute directly to growth, customer satisfaction, and long term success.

Our ideal candidate must have:

• A strong ability to think strategically and translate long term vision into clear product direction.
• Demonstrated experience in product management, portfolio leadership, or a related commercial or technical role.
• Experience leading teams - motivating, developing, and empowering people to perform at their best.
• The ability to quickly understand technical concepts and communicate them clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical skills, with a track record of making data driven decisions.

Our ideal candidate should have:

• Experience within the heating, HVAC, energy, or a comparable technical industry.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills - able to align diverse teams behind a shared direction.
• A collaborative mindset, thriving in cross functional and international environments.
• A proactive, forward thinking approach with the confidence to challenge, influence, and lead through change.
• A degree in business, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Working Hours: 39 hours per week – standard working pattern of 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 – 16:00 Friday with a 1‑hour lunch break.
